It looks like RockyMountainNavy Gamer is finally getting back to naval wargames! Two new arrivals in the past week.
Sparring Dragons: A Postcard Taiwan Conflict
This is a postcard wargame available from Norsehound. It is a one-page, print-n-play game of modern-day naval conflict neat Taiwan. The rules used are based on The Hunt for Red October from TSR in 1988 which I have written on before for Armchair Dragoons.
Task Force: Carrier Battles in the Pacific
The major arrival of the week was Task Force: Carrier Battles in the Pacific from VUCA Simulations. This game is a reimplementation of an original design by by Ginchiro Suzuki in Japan. There are 10 scenarios included, three of which are solitaire. The box is of the 3-inch deep variety and VERY hefty!
Yet to arrive is a my GMT Games P500 order for Next War: Supplement #3. The next issue of C3i Magazine #36 with Trevor Bender’s Desert Victory: North Africa, 1940-1942 should also ship this month, right?
