Much ado is made about the threat from north Korea.  Since March of this year we have heard much about the navy, especially after a north Korean submarine sunk the ROK Navy frigate Choenan.  But as this 2008 photo shows us, the north Korean Navy is really an aged force of obsolete ships.  In this case, Kim Jong-il, the dictator of north Korea, looks over one of his “battleships.” More like a gunboat, eh?
