We visited the awesome Piper Hobby last weekend. Little I had saved some money and wanted to buy a model. Still a bit of a beginner he looked for a snap together kit.
Fortunately, we found the excellent Pegasus Hobbies Spitfire IA kit. This snap together kit is easy to build but has great detail and clean parts making it a very sharp looking model. We did a simple paint job taking advantage of the existing desert tan mold.
Now officially interested in WWII aviation, we watched the classic Battle of Britain on Netflix that night. Now he wants a Me-109 to dogfight over his bed!
