- Logistics. Cold weather gear insufficient for extended patrolling.
- Personnel. Mission ineffective until replacements.
- Commander’s Assessment. Initially, right flank withdrawn under heavy pressure. Left flank stable as enemy concentrated in center of patrol area. Probe Droid Section strayed too close and was destroyed. Aggressive Imperial assault stopped by heroic Defensive Position. Though enemy driven off unable to continue mission.
- Remarks. HUMINT reveals enemy commander the infamous “RMN T.” Imperial patrols aggressively swept right flank and drove two Trooper Squads to center of patrol area. Probe Droid Section destroyed at mid-range by good shooting but losses heavy. Steady nerves in face of Imperial advance set conditions for timely employment of Defensive Position that granted extra firepower which proved decisive in stopping Imperial advance.

[Final score was 4 Medals to 3 Medals…a very near-run thing.]
