While wargames are dominating my tabletop so far in 2025, roleplaying games (RPGs) still make an appearance now and then. Here is a short update on several small RPG products taken in over the past few weeks.
HOSTILE Situation Report #16 – Gray Man (Zozer, 2024); $0.00 via DriveThruRPG. This is a three-page adventure seed describing a very interesting non-player character (NPC) that could be an ally—or protagonist—in your adventures.
Cepheus Universal: Fast-Play Rules (Zozer, 2024); $0.00 via DriveThruRPG. Core game mechanisms in only three pages; includes the most basic of character generation but no starships or aliens or tech (oh my)! Says it can be used as a player handout—good idea.
Blow the Bridge: An Encounter for Twilight 2000 (Kimble Vowless, Free League Workshop, 2025); $1.00 via DriveThruRPG. A mission-based adventure recommended for a slightly more experienced group. New rules for the Combat Engineer Specialty.
