To Honor Grandfather from Chief Weasel Games via Kickstarter. Projected Aug 2024. STATUS – IN TROUBLE. The mid-April update stated the printer ghosted the publisher and they are seeking a replacement. According to the May update a replacement publisher was located but the “downside is that its going cost about twice as much as the last quote we got, but thats how the world works.” No real comment on delay to the schedule…

The Battle of Khalkin Gol from Princeps Games via BackerKit late pledge. Projected Sep 2024. STATUS – NEAR DELIVERY. Per Update #10 posted 27 May: “The production of The Battle of Khalkhin Gol is finished! The games are being picked up by fulfillment companies and they are getting ready for freight. We expect the games to arrive at hubs by the end of June/beginning of July and shipping to individual addresses will follow soon after.”
Crisis in Korea from Catastrophe Games via Kickstarter. Projected May 2024. STATUS – FUNDED. Per Update #3 when the game funded in early May the projection was for 10 weeks putting delivery into August?
Dec 1972: Linebacker II from Cadet Games via Gamefound. Projected Oct 2023. STATUS – OVERDUE 7 MONTHS. Per last update posted late March: “We will have production starting soon and will update all with an ETA as soon as we can.” Or not. Originally projected for October 2023 but (sigh) still waiting.
Defiance: 2nd Russo-Ukrainian War 2022-? from GMT Games via P500. STATUS – QUICKLY PROGRESSING. Per May 2024 GMT Games update status is, “Ready for Art: Pending Artist Assignment.”
Eastern Front: Operational Battles from Compass Games via Direct Pre-order. STATUS – DELAYED FOREVER. Accidentally ordered this via “Pay Now” in February 2021 and have been waiting ever since. Latest status says 2025, much like Compass said 2023 then 2024 before.

If you are a backer of The Halls of Montezuma you are probably what I consider to be one of our core customers – since we did not advertise this Kickstarter campaign you are likely an owner of either or both of The Shores of Tripoli and Votes for Women. Your goodwill is very important to our company, so I want to give you a detailed explanation of where we are and what we are doing and when The Halls of Montezuma will arrive.
If you, however, prefer the tl;dr (too long; didn’t read) version, here it is in a nutshell: (a) We are going to use a deeper box for all of our games starting with The Halls of Montezuma; (b) We are going to be utilizing a different fulfillment method; (c) The Halls of Montezuma will be delivered in August and September.

Littoral Commander: The Baltic from The Dietz Foundation via Direct Preorder. STATUS – TRACKING. I have faith in it is The Dietz Foundation which has a better track record than most every other publisher.
Maneuver Warfare from The Dietz Foundation via Direct Preorder. STATUS – IN LIMBO. Technically speaking, The Dietz Foundation never stated when the game would be published so I can’t say if the game is late or still pending.
Next War: Iran from GMT Games via P500. STATUS – “At the Printer; No Ship Date Yet.”
Next War: Taiwan from GMT Games via P500. STATUS – “In The Art Department (Ready for Final Art/Proofing in Q3-4).” Have been waiting 3 years for a REPRINT! Can it beat the Davidson Window?
Next War: Series Supplement #4 from GMT Games via P500. STATUS – “In The Art Department (Ready for Final Art/Proofing in early 2025).” Another long wait.
The Soft Underbelly, 1943-1945 from Sergio Schiavi via Kickstarter. Projected Nov 2023. STATUS – OVERDUE. Per mid-May update a production copy had arrived for the publisher.
Tactical Commander from Trafalgar Editions via Kickstarter. Projected Sep 2024. STATUS – PROGRESSING. But no update since early April…
World at War 85: Blood and Fury from Lock n’ Load Publishing via Gamefound Late Pledge. STATUS – OVERDUE 18 MONTHS—NEVER GOING TO DELIVER? Funded in July 2022 with delivery initially projected for December that same year. Per a 13 May 2024 update:
The printer has informed us that the printing of “World At War Blood and Fury” is progressing and is anticipating that the process will conclude within the next few weeks, This timeframe extends beyond our initial hopeful shipping date estimate.
Regarding logistics, the current estimated time of arrival (ETA) is slated for late July to early August. Taking into account customs processing and warehouse operations, we anticipate that the distribution of the games will commence sometime in August.
While we do not have a precise date at this time, we are committed to providing you with a top-quality product. We have a more detailed update in our forthcoming communication, expected in June.
