Amazing how petro-dollars can make your military go….

Press reports state that Venezuela launched its first surface-to-surface anti-ship missile in 13 years this week.

Looking at Combat Fleets (15th Ed.), this may be an Otomat Mk2 fired from a Federacion-class guided missile patrol craft.  The articles also make reference to eight new patrol craft being built in Spain.  Combat Fleets only listed four being built by Navantia; looks like the petrodollars are going much further these days!.
