Wargame SITREP 24-31 ~ Wargame of the Week – An errata-ic first impression of Air & Armor: Wurzburg (Compass Games, 2024)

It is no secret that Bruce Maxwell’s Air & Armor: Wurzburg – Designer’s Signature Edition from Compass Games (2024) is a complex game. That said, I was not ready to see an errata sheet as the first thing when I opened the box:

This is going to be a beast of a game to learn. The Rule Book is a “mere” 148 pages and the Play Book “only adds” another 58…

More-ata errata

As I started reading the rule book more errata popped up:

“…more errata than any publisher would want.” What do you think player-customers want? (photo by RMN)
Will admit this one is a bit humorous…but hard to laugh when this is the “minor” mistake (photo by RMN)

I hope this means the publisher worked hard to bring a good product forward, even if it has a few warts. We will see…
